Why Now

If you've lived in Nashville for long, you know our city is no stranger to disaster — and these events are only increasing in frequency, making it more important than ever for us to strengthen how we respond together. With more responsibility for disaster response shifting to the local level, there's no better time for us to discuss how we can respond more collaboratively when the next disaster hits.

About the Convening

Together Nashville, in partnership with Operation Andrew Group, Community Minister Network, and Unite the Light, is hosting a two-part disaster response convening for leaders in Nashville's Christian faith community who are coordinating and leading disaster relief efforts.

These are exploratory conversations for faith leaders active in disaster response — a chance to get in the same room, see who else is doing this work, and find ways to be more connected, collaborative, and coordinated.
